The Calling and the Called
"God calls to each of us in a way that is as unique as each of us is. Some of us are called to help neighbours or to help members of our own family. Some of us are called to help people on the other side of town; some are called to foreign lands. As different as each one of us is, so our individual calling is different. Maybe our calling is to stay at home and be a good dad or mum. Maybe we are called to help our brothers and sisters to receive salvation thousands of miles away from home.
"But, what is common to all callings is that our response proclaims the excellence of He who called us out of darkness and who died on the cross for our sins."
